The Montgomery County Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program provides a multidisciplinary team that supports people with severe and persistent mental illness living within their community. The team provides services with a recovery-oriented approach that encourages and fosters consumer empowerment and choice. Individuals enrolled in the ACT Program are partnered with a team that supports them as they manage their illness, make progress toward their goals and increase their personal happiness, success and satisfaction. The ACT Program also connects individuals to a wide range of community resources to further improve their quality of life.
