In Memory of Wayne Chiodo
Horizon House has lost a distinguished and long-serving member of our community: Wayne Chiodo, President and CEO of Horizon House from 1990-2001, passed away on September 16, 2009. Wayne’s unwavering commitment to those who receive and those who provide our services demonstrated to all who knew him the importance of building relationships and working with others in service of a common vision. His insightful leadership, strength of character and dedication has left a lasting positive impact on our Agency, and he will be missed.
As a community, as an organization and as individuals who knew him, we have all lost a caring and devoted friend. We offer our deepest sympathies to Wayne’s wife of forty years, Mary, and his extended family. We invite you to share your memories of Wayne and reflections on his legacy with our Communications and Development Department as we pay tribute to this remarkable individual. Should you choose to make a donation in memory of Wayne online, please use the “comments” section to designate your gift as such. We know that his legacy will continue to inform Horizon House’s growth and development, and that the work we do will continue to pay tribute to his memory.
Thank you for your support!
